Ms. Liza Silerio is the Vice President for Corporate Compliance Group for SM Supermalls and Program Director for SM Environment and Sustainability with over 20 years of experience in Mall Operations. She is a Board Trustee of Weather Philippines Foundation Inc., and Chair of Ortigas Center Association Inc, (OCAI). She is a registered Civil Engineer.
Liza is also a Board Member of ARISE and serves as the focal point for the ARISE Philippines Network.
Disaster risk reduction activities
As the programme director of the Environment Committee since 2009, Liza Silerio pioneered the use of the first reusable eco bag in the country and had institutionalized many green projects and forums. She is an active member of the Philippine Business for Sustainable Development which builds companies’ capacity for sustainability. She leads the creation of the SM Prime Holdings, Inc.’s Sustainability Report in addition to the environment and sustainability projects our Corporate Compliance Group manages. On DRR, Liza Silerio heads the ARISE Philippines Network secretariat office and she represents our company in the National Resilience Council, the first in the Philippines.
