Mr. Ruben Leonardini is manager at Sancor Seguros Group, for Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Brazil. Ruben has 29 years of experience in the insurance sector within Sancor Seguros working on Parametrics insurance and risk transfer mechanisms. He holds a master's degree in Industrial Safety, and a master's degree in Industrial Toxicology. Since 2008, Ruben is member of the National Platform for DRR (Disaster Risk Reduction), as a representative of the private sector in Argentina. He was part of the Argentinian Delegation to the UN General Assembly, at the signing of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 in Sendai, Japan, in 2015. Moreover, he is a member of the Argentinian Delegation at the intergovernmental Working Group on Indicators and Terminology for DRR in Geneva. He is engaging in the Global and Regional Platforms for Disaster Risk Reduction.
