Grist is a nonprofit, independent media organization dedicated to telling stories of climate solutions and a just future.
Since 1999, Grist has used the power of journalism to engage the public about the perils of one of the most existential threats people face. Grist seeks to document the often unequal impacts of climate change on communities in the United States and globally — as well as to show the promise of equitable climate solutions.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
