Mission

UBMS Research Group was formed to sustain research in bridge management systems. Post enhancements in IBMS which resulted in UBMS, it was deemed essential to further enhance the system to integrate the most innovative technologies that were emerging on the horizon. Technologies like videography using UAV/ Drones, use of photogrammetry tools to create 3D models, creation of partial or full bridge 3D model using UBMS data, partial usage of Bridge Information models, Structural Health Monitoring were all deemed essential to be incorporated within the domain of Bridge Management. UBMS Research Group was born out of this necessity. Within few months of formation, we have integrated most of the technologies and now we turn our focus on Conversion of ANALYTICS OF UBMS to suit usage in other Countries. URG has evolved the GLOBAL ANALYTICS FOR BRIDGE MANAGEMENT which has universal application.
