Ms. Yoshiko Abe serves as the ARISE Japan secretariat. Ms. Yoshiko Abe is a Sustainability Strategist at Kokusai Kogyo Co., Ltd. since 2016. She joined Kokusai Kogyo as an international development consultant in 2005. Formerly she was a researcher specializing in large mammal zooarchaeology and hunter-gatherer ethnoarchaeology, with a PhD from State University of New York Stony Brook and a BA from Stanford University. She has been engaged with UNDRR’s private sector groups since 2011.
