Mr. Masato Takamatsu, Tourism Resilience Japan: Mr. Masato Takamatsu is President of Tourism Resilience Japan, a consulting firm specialized in resilience of the travel and tourism sector. He also serves as Advisor, Tourism Crisis Management, Brick's Corporation. Having 20 year experience as travel and tourism researcher and consultant, the East Japan Great Earthquake and Tsunami triggered him to enter the field of tourism crisis management and since then he has become a leading expert in DRR and crisis management for travel and tourism sector. He is involved in activities of international organizations including World Travel and Tourism Council(WTTC), UNWTO, UNDRR and World Tourism City Federation. Domestically, he serves as advisor to Japan Tourism Agency, Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Japan Travel and Tourism Association and other industry organizations as well as a visiting professor of Toyo University. Mr. Takamatsu is currently the Network Lead of ARISE Japan.
