Event Summary
Join us to explore how technology is transforming disaster risk reduction (DRR). Developed in collaboration with NASA, ARISE USA, and the Regional Scientific and Technical Advisory Group (RSTAG), and supported by AECID, Global Affairs Canada, and USAID, the Tech4DRR report analyzes the past, present, and future applications of technology in DRR. Through case studies, it highlights how tools like AI, Earth observation, and inclusive tech design have improved risk modelling and early warning systems, while also acknowledging their limitations. The event will feature a presentation of the report's key findings and a high-level panel discussion, aimed at fostering collaboration across public, private, and academic sectors to accelerate innovation for resilience.
