Mission

ARISE Philippines supports the UNDRR Private Sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies - ARISE - mission to create risk-resilient societies by energizing the private sector in collaboration with the Public sector and other stakeholders to achieve the outcome and goal of the Sendai Framework in a transparent and inclusive way that delivers local and measurable impact.

Over 35 partners have joined ARISE Philippines since its launch at the 2015 Top Leaders Forum, Philippines.

[UNDRR GETI - ARISE] Understanding Sendai Framework on DRR: An Option to Reduce Cost

The four-part webinar-workshop series aims to help network members gain a deeper understanding of SFDRR's goals and by showcasing the value of its programs and initiatives in reducing business operational costs and disaster-related losses and damages.

Voluntary Commitments

The Sendai Framework Commitments (SFVC) online platform serves to incentivize stakeholders to inform the public about their work, to provide a vehicle for sharing commitments and initiatives and for motivation toward the implementation of the Sendai Framework. In turn, UNDRR can monitor and take stock of the progress and impact.
