ARISE Network of Chambers of Commerce from the Caribbean Community (CARICHAM)
CARICHAM acts as an umbrella organization for the Chambers of Commerce in the Caribbean, consisting of 20 members from across the Caribbean.
ARISE CARICHAM serves as a platform designed to promote partnerships, information sharing and collaboration among the region´s chambers of commerce for the advancement of disaster risk reduction and resilience. Priorities include: Enterprise, MSME and supply chain resilience, DRR investment. and private sector engagement in Multi-hazard Early Warning Systems (MHEWS) and Early Warnings for All (EW4All).
CARICHAM is the overall focal point for Caribbean ARISE networks and Chambers of Commerce engagement in disaster risk reduction implementation activities in partnership with UNDRR and other relevant regional intergovernmental and UN partners for DRR including CDEMA and UN CBi.
CARICHAM hosts a Virtual Center of Excellence for business resilience support of Caribbean SMEs
