The ARISE Commitment of RESALLIENCE was focused in 2023 to continue developing an innovation that helps the private sector to precisely quantify the benefits of climate change-induced CAPEX/OPEX facing the cost of inaction. This innovation is the Resilience Performance Assessment (RPA). It is a decision-making tool composed of:
a digital platform to visualize the current and future impacts of the most impacting climate change hazards with a resolution up to a 10km through the entire world
a dashboard to qualify the physical and functional criticality of private sector activities and to quantify the needed CAPEX/OPEX, the avoided costs and the loss and damages, and their expected benefits at short, medium, and long-term facing the cost of inaction.
RESALLIENCE has specifically focused its ARISE activities to:
provide advocacy to accelerate the implementation of climate change adaptation strategies and policies concerning the private sector, international institutions, communities and national and local policymakers
strengthen international cooperation to help private sector achieving resilient investments and projects
design and accelerate the implementation of normative frameworks for the resilience of buildings, infrastructures, and projects through its influence networks.
